I have a Dell 2405FPW that I've owned for a little under two years. It's worked fine until recently. I was using VGA from my notebook to connect it, and I started noticing flickering lines going up around the screen. I figured it might be VGA, so I ignored it. I recently got a new laptop with a DVI port, and connected that instead. It appeared to correct the problem, but after about 15-20 minutes of use, flickering patches appear again. This seems like an obvious monitor defect, but I find it strange that it works flawlessly with no flickering for 15-20 minutes, then it appears. Anyone have any ideas?
