I am a coffee snob and NOT a fan of folgers, but compared to that instant crap, folgers brewed coffee is practically Dom Perignon.

there you have it.

the cheapest you should go is a normal brand, like folgers or yuban or whatever. go any cheaper and it no longer tastes like coffee. and dont get any "breakfast" or "special" blend from folgers thats suspiciously cheap. i bought one once, i tossed the rest on the first cup of sour cr@ppiness.

even worse. extracting flavour and aroma from beans is hard. even harder if you use garbage beans. cheapest stuff cuts corners, and you get stuff that barely tastes like coffee. the best instant coffee is from bk who use Douwe Egberts. its a commercial system though no go for regular folks.
