lol, I saw it but I don't know what anything you said means. Is it an easy fix? How do i fix it?

That CR-V has a K24 so it has a timing chain. To me it sounds like the starter solenoid isn't engaging...the starter gear grinding against the side of the flex plate.

If you have to ask what NutBucket meant, it's not something you can fix yourself.

As mentioned the starter sounds like it's not engaging the flywheel properly, expect to pay anywhere from $100-300 for a new or rebuilt starter. they are usually not to bad to change out, depends on the car, the minimum you will need is a jack, jack-stands, socket set, box-wrench set, possibly some pliers and screwdrivers to remove plastic engine covers that may be needed to be removed. If you plan on DIY auto repair buy a manual for your vehicle from either Hayne's or Chiltons. They are far from perfect but for the $11 you will get something that will show you step by step how to change out stuff and what tools will be needed. Also when posting a problem in the Garage forum it's helpful to list the make, model, year, engine of your car as their is a fair chance someone else might have experience with that model of car and have worked on one.

To me it sounds like it turns over somewhat slowly at first then starts clicking. Weak battery?

In my experience, when the starter isn't engaging the flywheel properly, it makes more of a buzzing sound.

Check battery cable, make sure they are clean and tight.
Check charge on battery

Well that sounds totally different from what I thought I was hearing the first time. Definitely no cranking going on there...but also doesn't sound typical of what I expect from a clicking starter solenoid.

It's possible that it's just a dead battery, but based on how consistently and rapidly the clicking is occurring, I'd be more inclined towards 'bad starter [solenoid].'

Definitely a possibility, but I've had several vehicles with batteries that were just barely low and the starters did the same rapidfire clicking. Mostly it's been motorcycles that have done that for me in the spring back when I didn't have a float charger.

I waited 2 mins with the jumper cables. Going to buy a whole new battery to see if that works before I call a tow truck and save 90$ hopefully.

If you heard just a clicking sound, I would think it was the battery not having enough amperage to turn the motor. From the speed of the noise, it sounds to me like it's the starter gear itself that's stripped. Occasionally through use, the metal gears (much smaller gear than the flywheel) will either grind against the flywheel or not disengage properly and cause mechanical failure. There could also be an issue with the motor windings causing the problem. Check auto parts stores for a new starter....or buy a used one here http://www.car-part.com and search your zipcode for a local junkyard. (can save a lot of money) You should be able to remove the battery, and it's probably 3-4 bolts to replace the thing. They typically are installed from under the car...but battery removal is a must since they get most of the 12 volts your battery has to offer...thick cables due to needed torque.

Fixed. It just needed a new battery. First I went to auto zone and the guy told me that it was my starter. He was 100% sure that it was the starter. I told him i was going to try jumper cables anyway. That didn't work so when I came back, there was a new employee and he said that it sounds like the battery. They also tested the battery and a tester printed out a receipt that said, replace. Two options, so conflicting because they don't allow returns. So I went with the cheaper option and it worked out. NICE!
