If you want to step off the beaten path, you might want to write about the cultural barriers that come into play when you globalize your workforce.

What about the increasing number of women in the workforce and the pressure it's putting on the family unit and how it's impacted men who used to be the bread winner for the family.

Should be plenty to get your teeth into there, you could talk about how businesses need to attract more women and can do this by easing these pressures, providing flexible working, on-site child care etc. Also how families, often through fault, come to rely on two full-time salaries and then feel trapped.

How about the programs that give women owned and minority owned businesses special advantages in winning business in the governmental procurement process?

when i used to work for accenture as a consultant, i noticed a lot of talented women leaving at about the 5-10 year mark (about the late consultant, early manager level)...

when talking to them, they feel like they are forced to choose - family or career...and most of them decide family

it's difficult raising a family when you are living out of a suitcase, flying in and out of town all the time, and working 80 hour weeks..
