I bought Athlon 1800 and a mobo at ebay for $270, was shipped last friday via priority mail, and as of today (thursday), NADA. I shipped some items on priority mail on monday and the buyer still hasnt received it as of today. 2-3 day service my A$$. Granted, the anthrax situation has play some role, but come on, they werent even shipped to/from east coast. This is pissing me off!!! At least make some annoucement about any delays!!!

Uh...I don't think you can be *too* mad with them. Why not be mad at the guy(s) sending the Anthrax?

They're the original source of the slowdown

[edit]Changed mad face to piece of paper...I'm not mad at anyone ;)

I was supposedly sent a package via priority mail last Tuesday (16th) and I still haven't gotten it. I should probably inquire soon.

Ok, forgive me if I was venting too much... well, surly I am mad at the people who are spreading anthrax, but I wish USPS would make some kind of annoucement to the public of delays... I am a bit nervous...

I think the problem with this is that the delays aren't at centralized locations, but instead are at individual branches and regional facilities. It's kind of vague to say "all mail sorted through xxxxx regional facility will be delayed three days" when the public isn't usually aware of what is and isn't routed through xxxxx.

Have a little patience.. it'll probably get through to you safely (emphasis on "safely").

i was expecting a number of packages that should have arrived about a week ago but i just got them in the last 2 days, the mails been REALLY slow. i also know alot of people who haven't gotten thigs they were expecting in the mail too. i guess the anthrax thing might have something to do with it

It really sucks that mail is going this slow. But I look at it like this: If it keeps one more postal worker safe, Ill deal. I know NoVA is having its share of worries about it...

I sent a CD to my GF, from PA to Virginia last month (after Labor Day, before 9/11), and she just received it 2 wks ago... IT TOOK ABOUT 1 MONTH! Nothing special about it, it fits in her mailbox, I paid like $1.05 for 1st class postage.... Go figure...

I don't really think they should have to spell it out for you given the current situation. They probably expect a little patience and assume that you are under the assumption that things will be a bit slow for a while. It will get there i'm sure, it's just going to take longer than usual that's all.
