What's with these ultra cheap flash drives/mp3 players on eBay?

I've been looking around for a 1gb thumb drive lately just to check prices and I found things like this and this for only $1.79 with just an hour to go. What's the catch? These sellers have reasonably good feedback and I read the description to make sure they're selling the actual drive, and it looks legit. However, the price is way too low! Does anyone know what the catch is?
