Russia is threatening to pull out of the Games altogether unless the IOC addresses its list of issues, which involve figure skating, ice hockey and cross-country skiing.
South Korea just filed a protest complaint over Kim Dong-sung's loss of the Gold medal to the ISU and IOC and has even hired a law firm to sue the Australian referee who disqualified Dong-sung.

Babies. They take this Olympic stuff too seriously. It's about entertainment, but some can't seem to swallow their pride.

Canada had a legitimate beef. The French judge was persuaded to vote unfairly. These new complaints by Russia and South Korea seem like they are clutching at straws.

Exactly NFS4! This olypmics is the most tainted one yet. I think its related to political correctness. There can be no loser everyone has to have the gold. Hell they should do away with Silver and Bronze and make the top 3 team/players all gold winners! WAIT! No we can't have ANY losers, lets give everyone gold! Show up at the games you win instantly!

Theres a difference.

The Russians are upset over

1. the tie vs US in hockey. The USA was awarded a goal when the Russian goalie rolled into the goal with the puck. That is a goal in the NHL and Olympics

2. Russia is upset about drug testing. Winners get drug tested deal with it. The drawing of to much blood did not happen, its a fabrication because their athlete didnt preform well. Unless they can show proof of which there isnt.

3. Russia is upset that dual golds were awarded. IMHO They should have stripped the golds from Russia, its obvious Russia did NOT win that, and they know it, they just dont want to let go of their 40 year strangle hold on pairs figure skating.

The South Korean clearly cross tracked per ISU rules. The ruling on the ice was right, and per ISU rules, you can not protest rulings based on infringment of the rules. Infact Apolo Anton Ohno has been DQ'ed doing the same thing in the past in the World Cup Series for Short Track.

Russia has no legit complaint. The South Korean cheated, so there difference is, Canada had a valid complaint about fixing. It has plagued figure skating for the past 50 years, and its what happened in the pairs.

Personally, I liked the Italian short track skater who said, "We should take a rifle to Ohno."

WTF is THAT? :|

There is no controversy, other than the pairs figure skating Kim cross tracked which is illegal under ISU rules, and the Russians are just griping because they feel "wronged" because they have been "singled out for drug testing", well duh you win you get tested. And the Americans have had several controversial decisions go against them in the past.
