Whats with the word "Hot"??

Recently, I have heard an obnoxiously large number of people using the word "hot" to describe something. For example:

Timmy: Hey I just got new shoes!
Johnny: Thats Hot

What has spawned this maddess? and when will it end?

She hardly provides entertainment and has no claim to fame except being a filthy rich slut. She's not even all that hot herself. People like her are truly responsible for the dumbing down of America.

BTW, add Anna Nicole Smith to my list. She may be even worse then Paris.
 
ya, when you venture outside the nerd world you see some slang gets popular.. i use hot all the time. 🙂 and sick/insane/key .. etc
