What's with the mp3pro codec?

its good at low bitrates .. but it's crap.

stupid people who hold patents on mp3 wanted to squeeze the popularity of MP3 and make money off the licensing. back fired and no one likes mp3pro.

maybe. but mp3pro would have to release a some kind of filter for programs to read and play mp3pro. that's prolly not likely since they would want $$ for every program and license they use.
