What's with the Information Minister of Iraq?

Scarpozzi

Lifer
I searched and couldn't find a topic about him, but geez. I mean, there are tanks and soldiers in Baghdad and he's denying that American soldiers have breached the city's walls.... What a moron. He denied that we had any presence in the airport and I don't know what he's trying to prove by saying all that. He even said that Al Jazeer was siding with the americans for some sort of gain. Can someone explain his motive in saying all that? I'm sure the citizens are going to realize that he doesn't know his @ss from a hole in the ground when they look outside.

He's obviously living on a another planet. I want to know what he's smoking and who's his connection.

True dat....gotta be some good stuff. Maybe he breathed in some of that nerve agent by accident.

he's trying not to get himself killed by the civilians, who they told that the US would never make it into there.

And he's in denial. Think about it, what does it mean to him if we catch him?

What's funny is the fact that Friday they were saying the coalition forces were 100 miles from Baghdad, and Saturday morning they were saying that they had recaptured the airport. We must have made some serious advances Friday night...

Ironically enough, the foreign minister (Aziz) is a Christian. It's his job to promote propaganda and lies, just like it is with the Coalitian's info minister. Its nothing new to war.

Its all propaganda to try and rally support from average Iraqi citizens to fight the U.S. If they knew the U.S. was winning so easily would not dare fight back.... but since they think their government is winning they are more likely to help.

He is doing his job - creating propaganda and trying to make it seem like Iraq is winning. If the situation was reversed I don't trust our government to tell us if we were losing the war either - take nam' for example.

They need to capture the guy and have a bunch of US soldiers all wearing Mickey Mouse ears and dude dressed up as Mickey Mouse all waving at the camera broadcast on Al Jezeera.
