Whats with the beeping

OKay.... so i bought an ati tuner card and i put it in my system.... first problem was that my graphics card a nvidia and this ati i guess dont like each other because when i first power up my display is crap. Then i turn off and remove the card and know when i turn the comp on it beeps acouple times then stops and windows loads.... ANy ideas what it could be.... i really dont know ive done a whole bunch of things and it would be great to get ti to stop....
I have an ic7-g max 3 512 ram geforce 6800gt ....... Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Thnks

Hmm, well I haven't had any trouble running my ATI TV tuner with an nvidia graphics card(acualy had the opposite problem, worked with the Nvidia card, didn't want to work with the ATI graphics card). Try re-seating the video card and the ram, make sure that the molex connector is still plugged in tightly the the 6800GT. The beeping could be from the video card being underpowered, or from your video card or CPU overheating, so make sure all the fans are working.

Sounds like it might be a video driver issue. Try uninstalling the nVidia drivers and reinstalling them. Also, if there are any ATI display drivers on your system, you'll have to ditch them too. If that makes the TV tuner stop working, try a different brand.

Hey guys thanks for the help i reinstalled everything and it all works great the beeping as i found out was a fan that had died so fixed that too. Thanks again
