Whats with spam?

Why in spam email do you a bunch of random letters in the subject title i.e Vhf Get size pvl ? Also is it worth the blocking the emails when they are like zqfxrhua@emmanoilexyjvzs.com or is it just a completely random address or spoof address that will never be used again?

spammers use gibberish to get past mail filters that block out specific phrases

They are picked randomly to get past existing blocks and avoid filters.

And its not worth blocking them - they won't get repeated and you'd just end up with the world's largest blacklist

I believe its a way of throwing off spam filters that use heuristics to calculate spam. Instead of using keywords to filter out spam, they use algorithms to decipher what is spam and what isn't. These random characters affect the calculated "weight" of the words in a message and throw the filters off.
