What's with politics?

You have the Left that believes in social liberties (maybe a bit too much with crap like feminism and victimism) but also tends to want to raise taxes and provide social programs that people just leech off of. Then you have the Right that pushes for greater economic freedom but comes up with crap like abortion is "wrong", you should pray to god and you shouldn't have sex before marriage - wtf??? That crap should be up to individuals to decide, not some beaurocracy! I just can't make any sense of it..
