I keep getting these stupid "paid survey" spam emails, linking to some site (they're all the same) where they say you get paid a bunch of money to do surveys every week, and that all you have to do is sign up for the "registration fee" of $10.

Anyone try this out? Or know what the scam is? -i.e. you pay $10 and you never get any surveys. I don't get it.:disgust:

About once a month I get a survey request from Vividence for a $10 Amazon certificate.

Anything else is a scam to get your money. All they do is provide you with a list of companies that in the past have requested some company to perform a survey.

I disagree. I get pineconeresearch all the time and they are good for it. Get $5 per survey and get multiple surveys per month. The check is in the mail by one week after survey completed.

I'm a member of Survey Savvy .
There was no fee to join.
In the past 6 months, I've gotten about 15 invitations for different online surveys.

When you reply, you get asked some initial questions about your job function, what role you have in making decisions about the purchase of hardware, phone service, development tools, etc. Based on those answers and how quickly you replied, you either qualify for the survey or you don't.
I've qualified and completed 3 of the surveys. One paid me $30, one paid me $20, and one paid $5. Each time, I received my money promptly by paypal, so they are definitely legit. Not much money, but also not bad for 10 minutes answering some questions.

I certainly wouldn't pay any fees to register for any survey taking though. Anytime you are asked to pay someone else with the promise that they will pay you later, you can be pretty sure it's a scam.
