What's with all the Tech YTbers advertising for CD Key type vendors?

Maybe it's legal but I was under the impression that buying a Key for Win 10, etc was considered illegal but if so, I've always wondered how the stores that sell them are so prolific and some reasonably high subscriber count tech youtubers have sponsors that sell the keys.

So, is it fine to pay $20 for a copy of Win 10 that some OEM never used? This is one of those great mysteries of life.

Those keys are certainly illegal. Even posting about them here may be against the rules. So it should not be a mystery. Run Linux ;)

It is usually legal, but can be a bit sketchy, depends. Just make sure you use buyer protection if you are not sure on the site, to make sure it activates fine.
I have my site. It works fine. I did the research before deciding on a site.
