Man it seems as if there threads are completely pointless most of the time. They are getting locked left and right. They should be required to have at least 200 posts to create a new topic or something. I unno just fumin right now i guess.
 
Uh, without "noobs" the community would dwindle as there would be no one to replace members who have quit.

Im not saying that there shouldnt be any new members just saying that they should actually look at the forum faq and stuff, before they spew crap out there mouth.

Yes, there are many, many pointless threads here in Off Topic. That's the nature of the beast though. It's a forum for anything that doesn't fit into the others.

In causual conversation, people will bring up stupid things like "Who's hotter, Dave's mom or Elvira?".

I don't see why online discussion should be any different. It's like a big hallway filled with people. Lots of conversations going on, most worthless, but a few are gems.

Alright, like i said im just venting. and what the hell does that mean under 600 posts, like for some reason 600 is the "Magic Mark" that takes you out of n00bland. Hell call me a n00b i dont care. But when other people do post stupid threads like that hot deals one i posted most of the time its the members with A LOT more posts then me critisizing them for there stupid post. So whats the big deal?
 
its because they never read the rules.

in every forum, there will always be people posting something that shouldn't belong. that's why we have mods.

I see youre point and completely agree but I am talking about the hot deals threads'n stuff. Because if I was talking about off topic then i would be a hypocrit, I posted here cause im not a n00b who would post this in hot deals. Sory i didn't clear that up before.
