What's with all the hype about NWN?

Well i'm totally bored, so i guess i'll be grabbing a copy of NWN pretty soon. Can't say that i'm impressed by the screenshots, but a LOT of people are dying to play that game, and that makes it worth something. So what's all the hype about anyway?

Most people really liked the Baldurs Gate games. Now there is one with better graphics, better multiplayer and an actual dungeon master with complete control and powerful scripting interface to allow multiple functions. Need I say more?
