What's with all the calculus topics?

"Explain calculus to a layperson," "good calculus websites," etc. Why is everybody so interested in derivatives and integrals now?

It's important to know the difference between integrity and integrability. A person has integrity if they do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. A person has integrability if you can take their antiderivative.
