What's up with X-Files?

I just caught part of tonight's episode. I used to watch the show a lot, but haven't been keeping up with it for the past year. Can anybody give me a quick synopsis? Seems like Scully's son is the Messiah or something.

Some questions:

Where is Mulder?

Who's that other female FBI agent?

What happened to Doggett?

What's going on?

I don't watch the show anymore, but I'll tell you what happened to Mulder: They couldn't pay what he wanted, plus he was getting tired of X-files and he had them write him out of the show

the other lady is helping scully dunno why i missed a whole buch too,
doggett is also helping scully.
the baby is a weird...i wonder how their gonna pull off the ending...kinda curious

Hiding from the government for "knowing too much." Maybe dead, maybe not. All he's good for now is keeping long-time viewers like me watching, hoping he'll return and save the show.

Agent Reyes is Doggett's new partner now that Scully isn't part of the X-files anymore (she's a teacher now). She's been on a few times in previous seasons, spewing out a bunch of past-life, psychic mumbo-jumbo.

He got hit by a car driven by a woman who was trying to kidnap Scully's baby. Why he thought shooting a forward moving vehicle from the front was a good idea is beyond me.



<< What's going on? >>



A religious cult in Canada discovers an alien ship similar to the one Scully found a few seasons back. An FBI agent who infiltrated the cult goes back to the US in order to kill the baby but Scully fends him off in one of the best fight scenes of the show She hands the baby to the Lone Gunmen for safekeeping but the woman who hit Doggett finds them soon afterwards. The FBI is very interested in the whole case, almost... too interested. The baby seems to be some sort of alien hybrid, somehow related to the government's invincible "super soldiers" and/or a possible alien invasion in the future.
