For some reason, Windows XP does not renew my IP Address when it boots up.
After pulling an IP address from my home Cable/DSL box (192.168.1.100), I power down my laptop and take it in to the office, where I plug it in, boot it, and instead of pulling an IP Address from the DHCP Server at the office, it holds on to the 192.168.1.100 from home.
Every time I go into the office, I have to do an ipconfig /release and /renew to get a correct IP Address.
Anyone else have this problem?
