So going for lower end sound?
none of those components except the head deck are really great.
If you are just looking to go cheap with mediocre sound that should be ok.
but don't expect audiophile quality sound or even good factory sound from those particular speakers and amps..
a decent set of JL or Focal or Infinity, separates go for about 300-500 bucks by themselves just for the front and a really good set of mid range speakers you can look at least 200 bucks and then you have to spend the cash to get the factory enclosures dynomatted for them as well.
Pioneer amps are not known for their quality either
Memphis, Fosgate, JL etc are much better quality.
Dont skimp on sub boxes either.. it does matter, a 50 dollar box I question the materials as well as the wiring quality and fit and finish..
but mainly materials.. yes the quality of the wood and the box design all affect sound.
a good box will cost a decent amount unless you don't care.. but again expect flat or distorted bass and general lack of sound.
Just to give you an Idea of an A+ install my sub setup alone cost as much as you are spending on everything.
using a Kicker L7 12, Memphis 2 channel 300 watt Amp. and a custom enclosure and dynomat install. that included 6 gauge wiring install and a level knob installed in the car as well.
I have pics of the box installed but myself and the shop are not happy with the way the appearance turned out..
it is being redone again in matching carpet instead of black vinyl and a new grill and LED setup to show it off. We though that the black Vinyl would look like the black leather of the interior and the embossing would look alot better. but alas it did not so another day in the shop getting it done differently. (on the shops dime not mine)
