Symantec Endpoint Protection keeps poping up warning and notices and that Tracking cookie has found and removed. Reports say that it came from blogging site. Besides Anandtech and am not visiting any sites. Not sure its AT or some other site, but is AT using these kind of cookies now?

Hello, Is your Endpoint Protection managed by a central manager? If so, you can create exceptions to eliminate these pop-ups.

Open your Centralized Exception policy -

*Select the Centralized Exceptions tab
*Click Add ---> Security Risk Exceptions ---> Known Risks
*Scroll down to Tracking Cookie and select the box

interesting...thomas, do you work for symantec?

Desi, you'd have to be more specific about "came from blogging site." The AT Forums do use cookies (how do you think vB keeps track of you?), but without more info there's no way of knowing what specifically you're talking about.

Soccer: Yes, he works for Symantec.

ViRGE, it stopped, I dont think it was from AT, must be some other site. I was not visiting any other forum or blogging site so I was wondering if its from here... but didnt get more issues, must be some other site I was visiting.

seems to be from doubleclick, atwola, liveperson and other such sites
