Hey guys, running Seti Driver means you can cache lots of WU's.
I recommend at least three days worth for every cpu that you have. Of course if you want you can cache 7 days worth or more.
Estimate how many WU's each cpu can crunch a day and multiply by the number of days you want to have cached. Put that number in seti driver and then don't worry about them again.
LESS WORRY = MORE FUN 😉
The proxys out there can supply you with WU's and in a real bad pinch some of us can email WU's to you. They will count just as though you had got them directly from Berkley. The only chance that they would not is if you happened to have already crunched that WU, but that is unlikely.
So, to summarize: Lets pull together as a team and use team resources. There are great folks here who provide via their own resources the proxy servers for team use. Take advantage of them, They can also do nice things for you like route VLAR units away from Win98 clients.
So quit yer bitchin' and get to crunchin'!!! 😀
