I go to the Post Office about every day. Virtually every day there is an old person (70+) at one of the windows buying stamps.
Of course they dont buy stamps like everyone else does, they have to see every type of stamp the PO has printed in the last 120 months before making a decision. And as their last remaining brain cell reviews the choices the line behind them grows exponentially.
Does it really make a difference if Little Johnie's Thanksgiving card has a flag stamp or a flower stamp?
And then the unwitting PO employee blindsides them with a question on how they are. Of course thus begins the soliloquy on the various ailments that they have had for the last 10years.
