What's up with no link to forum's on anandtech.com

As I see it there used to be a link to the forums and now there isn't.

What's up with that ? Am I missing something ?

What I have been able to figure out if I click on show full site, then FORUM comes up, which I believe is different than how it was before.

Seems awkward to me, but perhaps I am missing something.

I'm not sure what the problem you're having is.
It's just right where it's been.
Are you browsing the mobile site?

anandtech.com brings up a page with a link to the forums

www.anandtech.com does not have the link

I am not sure why they are different but at this point I don't have a problem.

Update: anandtech.com vs www.anandtech.com is not reproducible.
There are other factors involved.

if the window is maximized, there's a direct link to "FORUMS" like soundmanred said.

If the window is too small, that menu gets collapsed into a drop down menu which you can open by clicking on the house icon.

^^^This is gets to the essence of what is going on.^^^

I am using an Thinkpad x61t with 1400x1050 resolution on a 12" screen with Linux Mint and Google Chrome browser. In full screen mode the website comes up without the FORUMS link. If I (ctrl -) to reduce the zoom the page comes up with the FORUMS link.

Now Google Chrome seems to remember the Zoom at least for the same session, so I just tried to bring in up again and it came up with the full page with the FORUMS link.

Update: just restarted. Chrome displays with FORUMS link (full page) even though I left it super zoomed so the page does not fit. Incognito window brings up page without FORUMS link even though I left it the session before small so it fits.

I feel a resolution.

There might be something unaccounted for here that might not be worth looking into.
