What's up with my video?

Hey all. I'm having a frustrating problem with my video. During normal computing I have no issues. I also do 3D modeling. I don't have any issues while modeling. When I play a game with 3D content I will maybe play a couple of minutes before my video goes to crap. Either it goes to a black screen or the image gets VERY garbled. If I just hit the reset button my video stays messed up. I have to power down my system completely to get video back. I check the event viewer and find no sign of any issues. I'm hoping it's just my video card. Anyone have any ideas?

Your card is overheating. RMA it.

Thanks. I wish I could RMA it. eVGA says the card is out of warranty.

clean the card of any dust and check that the fan is spinning well. If the fan is making any odd noses or not spinning well then buy a replacement cooling kit for your card their like $30.
