Are people alergic to my threads? LOL

Been wondering what all the recent crashes and BSOD's were coming from, so I ran a memtest on the 512 of ULTRA ram that I've got in it...and by the time it hits the 20th cycle, it's got 20 errors reported!! I put my PDA on the enter key to see how bad it would get, and I gave up after it went to 7,975 errors out of 2,390 cycles. Screen Shot here :( So I trade RAM with my roomate, and I get no errors with his RAM, and he gets no errors with my RAM!!! WTF?!@?!?

When I first put this computer together, I had major issues trying to get XP installed. Kept getting errors randomly stating that a file (many of them) could not copy correctly. Tried roomates RAM again and bam, it installed perfectly. Swapped RAM back again and everything was ok for a while till odd things started to happen again.

Is ULTRA (yes I know...Tiger Direct's quality stuff...) not compatable with my DFI 875 PRO board?

Does he have same mobo??? Did he run exact cas timings and voltages??? If not then we could just be looking at mobo compatability and maybe some voltage issues...I have seen some board that undervolt vdimm by as much as .04 so at default it is giving less. I have also seen many of these 875 mobos needing 2.7-2.8v just to run rated specs...

Do you have multiple sticks??? Did you try each separately???

I have a single stick of the ULTRA 512MB setup, and his RAM is two entirely different models of 256MB, but Crucial Branded. My timings are set by SPD, and I don't believe that I had changed any of the DIMM voltages, even though I had clocked it to 3.5 for about a week now...which I have reverted back to original 2.8HT.

I'll check the timings between my RAM and his RAM if you like.

BTW, he's using a Soyo Dragon MBD, and not a DFI like I am.

UPDATE:

I lowered the latency from 2.5 to 3 (as high as I could) and bumped up the DIMM Voltage from 2.6 to 2.7 (highest I can set it) and absolutely NO CHANGE in error amount. :( Is there anything else to change, or is this ram just not compatable?

EDIT:
BTW, RAM timing values set by SPD are as follows:
Roomate: 2.5, 6, 3, 3 (Pair of Crucial)
Mine: 2.5, 8, 3, 3 (Single ULTRA)

Also, I'll be building my brother a similar system using the same MBD, but with 1GB of RAM. Is there any issue with Corsair XMS 3200 and the DFI 875PTO board? I think I heard about it regarding the AMD board. TIA
