Are people alergic to my threads? LOL
Been wondering what all the recent crashes and BSOD's were coming from, so I ran a memtest on the 512 of ULTRA ram that I've got in it...and by the time it hits the 20th cycle, it's got 20 errors reported!! I put my PDA on the enter key to see how bad it would get, and I gave up after it went to 7,975 errors out of 2,390 cycles. Screen Shot here
So I trade RAM with my roomate, and I get no errors with his RAM, and he gets no errors with my RAM!!! WTF?!@?!?
When I first put this computer together, I had major issues trying to get XP installed. Kept getting errors randomly stating that a file (many of them) could not copy correctly. Tried roomates RAM again and bam, it installed perfectly. Swapped RAM back again and everything was ok for a while till odd things started to happen again.
Is ULTRA (yes I know...Tiger Direct's quality stuff...) not compatable with my DFI 875 PRO board?
