i got it 6 days ago and my memory card is not functioning well 100% beginning yesterday night.

i have a 15 block Interact memory card.

works well till last night, sometimes i can save, sometimes not, when it has problem saving, it will erase my save file that i am trying to overwrite. and i switch it to memory slot 2 and it works ok till now.

So i am wondering is the memory card or my PS one faulty?

Advice pls.

My guess would be the memory card, get another card and see if the problem can be duplicated or goes away - then you'll know.

Generic memory cards are notoriously crappy. I've had several go t!ts up on me. Spend the extra five bucks and get a Sony memory card next time. If you do it soon enough, you may be able to salvage your saved games off the old card.

I would buy an official sony memory card and a Dex Drive (if you can find one still). Then you can dump your memory card on the computer and keep on using the memory card.
