What's up with eVGA's high end

If you take a look at newegg, monarch, mwave, and zipzoomfly you'll notice that none of them have a eVGA 7900GTX or 7950GX2 in stock. Newegg has been out of stock for a while on the GTX (over 2 weeks), and it doesn't even come up as out of stock anymore. It just isn't there. XFX and BFG stock is kinda spotty too.

Not sure if anyone else finds this kind of strange, but I do. I'm thinking that this might be indicative of NV slowing down stock on G71 chips either to intentionally reduce current inventory (so they don't end up with too many) or becasue their fab time is being used up to manufacture a different chip...

...or could just be nothing but a shortage...

Not to mention they're still overpriced for what you get. Perhaps they're going to slowly phase them out like the 7800GT's?

You werent typing in search what you were looking for did you ? I have done that alot, and nothing ever comes up. I always go through the menu's now. Works better for me. 8)

It wasn't there at all when I made the thread. I still think the the availability on the high end eVGA's is surprisingly low...
