What's up with chorus-repeating MP3s?

I've noticed some of the newer MP3s I have downloaded only repeat the chorus. It'll be a 5 minute file, but nothing but the chorus over and over and over again (Godsmack - I Stand Alone was like this).

Anyone else notice this? This is worse than DJ Clue on the beginning of each rap MP3. :disgust:

nope havent come across this, but I do agree it really fcuks me off when I download a tune then Dj Clue or some other poor excuse for a human beign comes on and talks sh!t :disgust:

I don't really feel I have grounds to complain, I *am* getting something for free.

But it does annoy me. Especially with newer singles that may not be out on CD yet, but are tagged by the ripping group or the radio station who started distribting it. Just like pirated software, I can bet we'll see more of that in the future.

I've never had that problem. You can get special mixes of songs that do that if you really like the chorus or something. Maybe you're becoming crazy like John Nash. Do you see people that aren't really there?

Just look for the song on another filesharing service. Sometimes a song gets spread out that has problems, like skipping or pops/cracks, missing the end, etc. Usually, everyone has that bad version so you try downloading it a few times and get the same crap. If that happens I generally go somewhere else (Sometimes I'll search by a different bitrate or filesize and hope I can get a good version).
