What's Up With CC's "Sale" price in Effect for the last TWO MONTHS?!

What's up with Circuit City?

They've had the Creative Nano Plus 1GB MP2 Player on "SALE" for more than a MONTH.

I don't know what the time frame is but my state requires an item to actually fluctuate between regular and sale price.

If an item stays at "sale" price too long, it's obviously the regular price and the state requires the company to make the "sale" price the regular price.

Some of the sales where I work are continuous until the product is sold out due to the product being discontinued and/or a new model coming out. That could be the case here.
