Why does she have to cry about something in every song? She must write the most depressing songs ever.

Shows you how much you know. That's not her song...it's Luther Vandross's song.

Exactly ! That's why MetallicA has gone triple platinum on their albums.Originally posted by: BigPoppa
She uses her music as an outlet and a form of self-expression. I can't stand music that is contrived and fake.

I wasn't talking about THAT song. They play a song of hers on VH1 all the time, where she meets a guy in a diner and asks him out. And there there were a couple of other songs before that.

i bet you like to listen to bands like n'sync and the backstreet boys huh..... you need some more pop culture garbage fed to you by MTVizzle fo shizzle....
you dont have to like her music, that is your right and in your tastes, however, i do not believe that there is any way that a person could make a logical argument saying that she does not have talent, dedication, or a reason to write songs that are the way they are.

Her song that is extremely popular now on the radio sucks. I can't stand when they play that part where she is like talking to the guy over the phone. That song is annoying, very annoying.

Which song(s)? I think it's an emotionally balanced album really, save for songs 4 and 9 (I don't know the names).
