What's up w/ ZZF's 6 month rating?

Did ZZF sell their business to TigerDirect? WTF's going on w/ their 6 month rating? I know I read about their poor customer service and unreliable stock status, but it didn't come up when I placed an order this morning. I went to resellerratings after lunch, read ZZF's customer reviews, and am regretting my purchase this morning. Man, I hope I don't get screw or anything. Should've placed the E6400 + DS3 combo at newegg last night. I think that's a 1 day deal.
 
Wow, dude, I coudn't believe that rating. I always thought they were atleast 9+ and no less than an a 8.5. WTF happened to them?
 
How often do you write a good review of a company when there are no problems? How often do you write a bad review when there are problems?
 
ive ordered a couple things from them in the past two months, both times they shipped the next day and it arrived the day after that 🙂

My last experience with them wasn't great, but I wouldn't leave a negitive review over it. Good prices, poopy service.

 
i like zzf whatever the rating says.
much better alternative to newegg.

prices are better. usually free fedex delivery.
No tax in NJ 😛

Exactly. ZZF used to have one of the top resellerrating for years. Something must be up.
 
Well, plenty of people report their good experience w/ online merchants on resellerratings. This is my 1st time buying from ZZF, I hope it doesn't turn out like ass. I'll report back when I get my mobo and CPU from ZZF.
 
I never read RR unless it's a merchant I've never heard of which is pretty rare but it does happen.

I'm sure there are hundreds of ebay, dell, amazon, buy, walmart and target horror stories on there.
 
I prefer ordering from ZZF if the price is the same or below Newegg. 2nd day FedEx is only $2 more for me and is worth it due to ZZF being located in CA.
The sole reason is ZZF uses FedEx a the primary shipping method and UPS is still continuing to treat my packages far worse than FedEx or DHL.
I have to say that ZZF's service isn't as top notch as Newegg's, but I rarely have to call customer support.
 
I ordered once from them. Didn't get any feedback as to when it shipped and no feedback when I emailed customer service twice. It took forever to ship and the only way I knew it did was when it arrived on my doorstep over two weeks after I placed the order. While I didn't leave any feedback for them, I'll probably never do business with them again. their website sucks, customer service sucks and shipping sucks. Newegg has never let me down in the 5 years I've used them and their prices on product and shipping are good and fair.
 
I juts placed a order from ZZF for the first time, since newegg has upped its prices and uses UPS.

Very good IMO and they use Fed-Ex.
 
Don't worry about your order. They are every bit as good as Newegg.

I quit using newegg now that they charge tax in TN. I use ZZF almost 100% (except small things that places like SVC have) and they've always done me right. They ship fast too!

You are required to pay the tax to the feds on your income statement you know.

I was under the impression it was supposed to be paid to your state in the form of a use tax.

And more importantly, explain why many others maintain 9+ consistently if only the squeaky wheels are heard. A company with bad ratings is doing something to deserve it.

That's why I give my Tax person a neat little stack of papers each year that are written off for my small business.

She does the work, not me!
