As I wrote 28.11.2001:

<< Ok, I've reached my current goal in Genome, and is moving back to seti.
I'll therefore move my 3 accounts back here, while I aim for my next goal.

Let's see if I this time manages to leave behind the new wu I produce, then I've reached my goal. :)

DSLR and MTR is the reasons I've reached the target so early, and also the reason I've kept the wu with the team so long after finnish.
Originally I planned pulling only 2 of the accounts, but since a new client was released, I made a new account. This account will stay, while I've dumped the same number of wu into Genome as I produced in the 3 leaving Seti-accounts.

Sorry to see you go mate:(

But thanks for the help you have given us:)

Is your v3.06 account gonna stay active? (btw did you know v3.07 is out?)
What's the story to the different accounts for each client?

I still don't understand why you're pulling the accounts off the team. Why not just stop producing??

Um, what Sukhoi just said. You can stop producing and leave your WU's on the team. I mean, unless you're joining another team why not leave your WU's with TeAm Anandtech?

He's put those accounts back to his original team Matrox users ,a team he was with before the 'famous' TA vs MURC battles ;)
I'd guess if in future he wants to help us he will just produce to his remaining account

Ahhh, the days of TA vs. MURC battles. We've come a long way since then.

Still sorry to see Rattledagger go. Good luck guy!

I see Assimilator1 remembers my main team this time... :)
As for the questions...
Then the 1st ver3-beta was released, I made the v3-account, to use in the beta-testing. I think it was at the same time I renamed the other account to v2, to keep them apart, and since I only had a couple of wu crunched with ver 1 included here.
Before v3 I had made another account for another group, but since this was a really dead group I only crunched 3 wu here, and renamed the account to v3.03 then this was released. So v3.03 is actually older than v3. :)
I had originally planned to stop using the old accounts, but since the new SetiQueue had multi-user-support and the Berkeley cable-cutting made me continue using all accounts.
Since I've reached my goal for this 3 accounts, I haven't any current plans to keep using them, but if I do, this will be for MURC.

The v3.06 was made then the new client was released, and I've tried the 3.07-client, but my naming is version-number and later versions...
This account I will keep here at Anandtech. I've currently paused Seti, but atleast in the summer I'll run some seti-wu... if it's possible to get anything to crunch... :)
Then the next cmd-version is released, I'll start crunching again, but I'll probably still keep running Genome.
