How does it different with a hub
And how does it work in wireless enviroment..
And how do you.. pronouce it :)

Router, with more of an ow sounds, like ow that hurts. That's how I pronounce it at least. It's a router because it routes packets. Looks at IP addresses of packets and determines the best route or path to take. Routers do a whole bunch of stuff, but the main thing it does is connect networks and route packets.
