What's to prevent kids from calling in bomb threats everyday to close down their school?

call from a payphone, say it's a bomb, but dont give exact location. school's for safty reasons close the entire district.

it's like kids pulling the fire alarms on the street as they walk by it on there way home :disgust:
 
Probably because it is pretty easy to get caught not to mention the fact that 99% of the kids are not deliquents.

Yeah, I always thought those kids are fvcking losers. I mean, it's nice to get out of school for bomb threats, but it also worried me that every time we had a bomb threat, we would go outside and sit on the bleachers. If I was making a half-decent attempt at mass murdering my fellow students, I'd put the bombs under the bleachers, call in a bomb, then hit the trigger when everyone sits down.

We had about 10 bomb threats my senior year of high school.
 
we had a number of bomb threats when I was in middle/high school. Eventually they quit taking them seriously and we'd just wait outside for 10 minutes and go back in. At first they'd send us all home but they stopped doing that after awhile
 
tracing the phone call cuz everyone knows your typical idiot that calls in a fake threate usually does it from the home phone.
 
Where do you people live, Freaksville? I never had a bomb threat at any school I attended, K-12 and college.

School may be a drag, but is it worth a criminal record to get out of just one day of school that you'll have to make up later anyway?
 
kids ? What.. never happened to your college ? Big finals on a certain day and a bomb threat is called into that lecture hall. Happened to us twice at Buffalo. Tests postponed...

Nothing stops this... how would it be traced from a payphone. They could be calling from 10 miles away (leave no fingerprints) and nobody would happen to catch them in the act.

hehe my buddy went to france for 2 weeks and called in 3 bomb threats in that time. Calling from a french payphone in the middle of wine country seems pretty safe to me. 😉

if the kids are 15 or under, they most likely will goto juvenille court. at 18, their records are wiped clean.

but yeah, once an idiot at 15, you're probably still going to do some stupid stuff at 16 + 17 that will land u in adult prison

If someone wasn't particularly prepared for that exam that day (like they got wasted the night before instead) then they can call "it" in to get it postponed to a later date. Of course the exam will still happen before anyone can graduate, but the whole purpose is to delay it for another day/time.
