The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be launched.
Error loading type library/DLL.
I get it when installing 3D Mark 2001
 
From a CD or a D/L /zip file ???????
If a D/L start with re-downloading
If a CD..............Uninstall and reinstall clean ( No internet/ Napster, email running etc.............)
Go from there and re-post
 
Downloading with IE? Might have been using cache, clear the temp files are try again to be safe.
