There are a ton of places to go get wings. You might try the Anchor Bar which is where they first invented them. I would check out the Albright-Knox Art Museum -- I've loved it the few times I have been there. Although I'm sure it doesn't compare to the art museums in cities such as LA and NYC it is incredibly good for a city of Buffalo's size. There are quite a few paintings by famous artists. I believe there is also a science museum in the city, although I haven't been there for quite a while. Also if you like drinking/cubs, check out Chippewa Street.

If you aren't interested in the Albright Knox or some other special attraction in Buffalo, you might just want to stay in Canada and avoid the hassle of customs. Casino Niagara is on the Canadian side as is the newer Fallsview Casino. The Seneca Niagara Casino is the only one on the American side. There is a ton of stuff to do in NF, ON. I can think of the Skylon Tower which has a pretty cool restaurant where you can eat and see all around. There is also the Maid of the Mist which is a cool little boat tour of the falls and an IMAX theater (that I can think of offhand. Also, the nightlife in Clifton Hill is also nice and there are some nice Canadian ballets up there (SUNDOWNERS FTW)...

Not that I don't want you to bring your tourist dollars to Western NY that is!!!

Personally, I don't like the Albright Knox Art Gallery... they're actually planning on selling off their older pieces in order to purchase more modern art. Thus, rather than a repository for wonderful works by famous artists, they're more of a "become famous and get rich as an artist" type of place, by promoting the works of somewhat lesser known contemporary artists. Don't get me wrong - I am a fan of the arts. But, the last time I went there, one of the pieces of "art" was an 8x10 (foot) painting - All one solid color, except a small circle of white in one of the corners. Price tag? 10's of thousands of dollars. i.e. a 10 year old with a paint roller and a circular piece of masking tape would be able to make a perfect duplicate. Art? I'm sure others appreciate stuff like that; but I'm not planning on returning.

Not a whole lot to do in Buffalo this time of year. Some of the attractions at Niagara Falls are closed this time of year (Maid of the Mist). If you're thinking of crossing the border to head to a Casino, as Greg said, it's not worth the hassle... nice Casinos on the Canadian side at Niagara Falls. Although I've been to the falls enough times for me to think "over-hyped" - I'd still much rather spend the weekend on the Canadian side of the falls with my wife than spend the weekend on the American side, either in Niagara Falls, or in Buffalo. to the Skylon tower for dinner. Excellent food. If you don't want to eat dinner there, you can still go up to the observation tower instead. Bring a camera! You can also do the Cave of the Winds tour this time of year still - go behind the falls. Pretty neat. And, if you have a lot of money to burn, there are plenty of tourist traps that will be more than happy to help you with your problem.
