What's the worst tasting medicine you've ingested?

For me it's gotta be Buckley's or Benilyn cough syrup. Gag-inducing and it seems you can even taste it with your throat on the way down. Nyquil is really bad too but those two are in a league of their own as far as I am concerned. Bleargh!

hydrocodone/guafenison cough syrup... stuff tastes terrible.

tussionex (hydrocodone/clerphenermine) syrup however tastes like orange soda

same thing with promethizine VC Codeine syrup, it tastes even better... you can drink it right out of the bottle and actually enjoy the taste.

I had to drink this bowel prep solution prior to having some imaging work done on my kidney. It was like some miserable combination of shell fish, 7-Up, and vomit.

It sucked going down. And the after affect was even more shitty.

When i was 5 years old i had bronchitis and had to drink two different RX liquids. Some thick white unpleasant stuff that came in a white bottle and something clear/unflavored/acidic that came in a dark brown glass flask shaped bottle. The stuff in the brown bottle was the worst thing i ever remember tasting, words cannot describe it.

By far the worst tasting medicine I've had. (I don't remember which formula I had though)

I once had to take some sort of something to bring my potassium down. It was a powder that had to be mixed in water...and I would've rather drank mud, it tastes similar enough.

I still remember the ads for it way back in 1988. "its made from pine needles. What did you expect it to taste like?"

It does work though, assuming you can get it down and keep it down.

no, there's some grape stuff that tastes like grape soda

and that pink stuff from the hospital was yummy too
