What's the worst pre-movie commercial out there?

Before seeing War of the Worlds on the 4th, I was insulted by 20+ minutes of commercials before the movie actually started! 14-15 or so of those minutes were trailers, which is okay -- but still to much -- in my book, but I couldn't believe the sheer pointless crapiness of the other commercials that were shown!

I have to literally close my eyes and plug my ears whenever that Fanta commercial comes on - it's so frickin' grating on the eyes and ears! And what Coca-cola commercial has actually made you want to go out and buy a Coke? Ugh... :disgust:

And they wonder why movie attendance keeps dropping. I remember when the fist 20 minutes was a cartoon or entertaining short of some kind.

I remember when it was only 6-10 minutes. I guess with the length of some movies out there today, increasing the showtime by 20minutes makes it seem like people spend more time in the theater.

My thoughts exactly...the Fanta one is just annoying and since when does seeing a dramatic Coke commercial actually make you you want to drink it?
