I'll start

My 1991 Honda Prelude Si 5 speed. This car was a real piece of junk.
-Leaked / burned oil & coolant (barely passed smog by 1 point)
-Had an electrical short some where and killed the battery every couple of months
-Paint was oxidized
-Clearcoat was peeling off on the hood
-Antenna broke off
-Car's wiring was a mess (someone cut all the harnesses and someone did a half ass repair job)
-My dad dropped a ladder on the fender so there was a huge dent
-A/C didn't work
-Shocks were leaking

It would probably be my 1990 ThunderBird SuperCoupe:

- supercharged 3.8L V6
- I must have replaced everything from the engine to the blower to the brake master cylinder/ABS unit.
- Although, very fun to drive.

I've only had three cars, I really liked two of them. The first one however, I hated...it was a 1990 Ford Tempo...continual brake problems, rusting and ugly paint, A/C went out two days after I got the car (was hell driving in the Texas summer like that), very uncomfortable seats....etc. Just not a very good car, lol

Edit: And it stalled a few times when I was idling at red lights. Not very encouraging. :disgust:

Edit 2: The driver's door didn't always close either :Q

I've never personally owned a car but when my parents and I first moved to the states we had a plymouth POS. I dont even remember the model since i was so young. but basically this thing had a bad coolant system that basically worked half the time. To make things worse, the temp gauge was busted. So basically every once in a while my dad would have to pull the car over the let it cool down to make sure it didn't over heat.

'85 Jeep Cherokee (4 cyl). 4WD crapped out right after I bought it (didn't fix it), then the clutch went out shortly thereafter. It was too much vehicle for the small engine, seats were uncomfortable, radio was crap, etc. I traded it in just a few months after I got it, with no clutch, on my Eclipse which is the best car I've owned.

I had a '89 Ford Tempo as well. Filled the oil, checked the gas... Also had that paint problem that looked like "ashy" top coat. It was definatly a design flaw.

I'll give that machine some credit though, my brother smashed the front end up twice (once into the back of a suburban, the other into the trailer hitch of my old man's truck) and I replaced the hood, grill, and bumper twice (raidiator once) with parts from the junk yard.

That car took a whoopin. Here's to two toned Tempos. :)

my 95 altima i guss that i currently drive, the brakes always squeal and it has an acceleration problem sometimes where you "put the pedal to the metal" and it doesn't go or it goes slowly liek ur barely stepping on it and after anywhere from 2-10 secs of that it kicks in

That just might be old brakes and a bad engine? I dunno we had an old 95 corolla that had the same problems.

Mid 90s model minivan. Nothing says geek more than pulling into your high school campus with a minivan.

I got it for free when it broke down in my parents driveway. I rebuilt the carb, put new front brakes on it, four new tires, and drove it for about year and had maybe $200 in it. It had 70hp when it rolled off the showroom floor 190k 290k 390k? miles ago, no a/c, non-power brakes, the steering rack leaked faster then I could pour powersteering fluid in so I cut the belt, no headliner or carpet, maybe 3 screws holding the whole dash together, rear subframe was rusted out, c/v joints were noisy, suspension was shot, with all the power I still never got more then 20mpg, but the only problem I had in that year was the mastercylinder started sticking. Started without any problems, the heated worked, and I even took a few decent sized trips in it so I guess I can't complain to much about.

Oh and I sold it for $300 so it was also the best car investment I have made :).

'99 Mercury Cougar. Had it for a three year lease, when I turned it in the A/C didn't work along with the power windows, and many other little things.

'92 Chevy Beretta. The ABS brakes on it were constantly not working and I had to replace just about every hose in the cooling system.

My bf in highschool bought this old Ford Grandanda (i think) for $200 dollars. I was long and big. We filled the back seat up with beer cans. One day it died and we just left it on the road. We had so much fun in that POS.
