for handling zip files, use zip and unzip

There's also GUI tool that comes with KDE called 'ark', that looks a little like winzip. It acts as a frontend for zip/tar/rar/etc tools.

Unzip and zip are the commandline tools for working with zip files. If you've used the the original PKZip they're easy. If not you could use KDE's program or just go to freshmeat and search for a good frontend.

gunzip is for .gz files and is rarely used alone. It's usually used in conjunction with tar archives (and tar can handle unzipping the file too so I never actually use gzip). Also if you're compressing instead of decompressing (you don't have a choice there), you should look at bzip2 instead of gzip. It's newer/better.

I never did have ARK work for me in mandrake with .zip flies. Maybe it was just me though :Q

unzip <filename>.zip works like a charm though :)

To make business cards you might try star office, word perfect for linux or see if you can find an old copy of corel draw for linux.

I can't say specifically for mandrake, I use debian, but linux is linux after all, and there's a great archive manager for linux (gnome) called File Roller that acts alot like winzip.

And for business cards, another gnome app, (Oh how I love gnome. . .) called gLabels. This one I've never used, but looks quite promising.
