what's the thinnest 80mm fan?

i want to replace my stock xbox fan with something quieter & with LEDs, but it seems that my 80mm is a bit too thick and interferes with the harddrive.

you could use one of those slim fans that they put on heatsinks, i have one from a speeze cooler...it doesnt have LEDs and it isnt quieter though, it pushed a lot of air...

i thought of that, too... I had just removed my HSF because it was way too loud. .. i could hear the PC from 1.5 rooms away while the TV was on!

i replaced with Zalman AlCu and that works great. Now, i'm hesitant to put it in the xbox.

my 80mm almost fits. i've dremeled the edges and the bottom fits perfectly, but it's still a little thick on top.. maybe i'll dremel some of that too.

If you look at directron they have a 15mm one too.

I think 15mm is the thinnest you will find....more expensive it seems.

There is a listening room where you can here the fan and see how loud it is but I didn't see the 15mm on the sound list.
