What's the syntax for wildcards in the XP hosts file?

I'm setting up a few machines and want to limit their access to 3 sites. I'm going to disable DNS and add the three hostnames/IP's to the \windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file. I'd like it if any other site they type in would redirect to a single site, so essentially I need to put a wildcard in the hosts file so all hostnames but the 3 I want get redirected. TIA.

I don't believe you can use wildcards in the HOSTS file.

put a proxy server into IE, and add your 3 excaptions
