What's the stupidest thing you've ever done? (while sober)

OK, I already knew this was a dumb thing to do, but I did it anyway....

In an attempt to "entertain" some friends, I took the leftover air from a mousse can and sprayed it into my mouth. Then, with a lit match in front of my face, I blew out and made a really cool fireball. When I went to repeat the trick again, I had the mousse air in my mouth, only someone said something funny and I laughed through my nose. The flame from the match followed the air up my nose and created this massive fireball that singed my eyelashes, eyebrows, nose hairs, and a little of the hair off the top of my head.

Needless to say, I never tried that one again.

Rode naked on top of a limo for about 2 miles going down the highway. I consider myself to be lucky now looking back on it.

I went camping with a bunch of friends. On the way back we spotted one of those old fashioned railroad bridges that went over a lake. Being a little hammered and having some of the women folk with us, we masculine men walked out into the middle of the bridge and proceeded to jump into the lake that was a good 25+ ft below. Oh I did the jump alright... but I forgot all about the cellphone and wallet in my short pockets. The cell was toast, and somehow I lost the wallet :(

oh didn't read the sober part... well... uhh in college being a little buzzed is practically sober anyway.

heh, a coworker of mine started a story with "So this one time I was running from the cops . . . . " and didn't get any farther cause we were all laughing our asses of at him.

Best way to start a story ever!

i was 4, and decided that a lightbulb couldnt be THAT hot. decided to put my theory to test. i stuck my hand on a 60 watt lightbulb (had been on for ~5 hours) and i think it fried my nerves at first, because it didnt start hurting for at least a few seconds, then i started screaming like a wraith

Wow. 60watt bulb? It must have fried something (not intended to offend) because i cant see someone, even a child latching onto somthing that burns? When i was little i touched a red hot stove element and came out unscathed...meh

Way too long.
Got involved with something I wasn't aware of, mistook real cops in civilian clothes for civilians, destroyed a car, or two, almost made it to the border!

When I was about six I decided it would be cool to light the jute rope that led to my treehouse on fire. It burned up immedietely and showered sparks into the numerous bags of pinestraw that my mother stored underneath the treehouse for her gardens. So I took off running to get a hose and returning I stepped on an old ladder for the treehouse with a four-inch nail sticking up. So I dragged a piece of wood nailed to my foot while I tried to extinguish the raging fire that was now getting dangerously close to my bassett hound who happend to be leashed under the treehouse at the time. I ended up with a hole in my foot, my dog's butt burned, a tetanus shot and in a whole lot of trouble from my parents.

copied and pasted:

I'm sad to say I actually haven't done too many crazy things... Just wait till this summer though :) Some quasi-crazy things I've done include running up a ski slope a few times (never quite made it all the way, but I did ralph a few times), running in -20 degree weather with a windchill of -40 (my breath condensed and froze on my face; I took pics :)), and jumping down ravines. The latter garnered me 4 stitches in my elbow and a girlfriend.

To expound on that, at my high school, ravine jumping is a favorite past-time of the XC team. Our course ran right next to a creek, which carved a very nice ravine in the ground. There are some cliffs which are probably around 40-50 feet high, maybe 70-80 degrees. Most of them are composed of loose shale. We like to run around the XC course and the creekbed, running up the sides of the valley and jumping back down them sliding on our feet like we're surfing down the loose shale. One time, I went down a particularly precarious cliff, and my feet got stuck. I fell forward (from about 10 feet up) and landed face-first in the creek. When I got up, I was bleeding from multiple abrasions, and my left elbow hurt like hell. I thought I just bruised it, so I started climbing back up to go for another pass. When I got to the top, my friends very helpfully pointed out that my elbow was gushing blood.

So, I made a makeshift tourniquet out of my shirt, jogged the few miles back to school, and called my mother to pick me up (since I didn't have a car that day.) A girl was standing by the phone, and was apparently quite impressed by my shirtless, bleeding physique. I went to the doctor to get stitches, and she later became my girlfriend. We've been going out for over 2.5 years now. :)
