What's the stuff that you can write on car windows with called?

I need to write on the windows of a car I'm selling. What's the stuff called and where do I buy it? I'm assuming it comes off with a little soap and water (one would hope ).

Anyone know?

Edit: PLEASE don't use shoe polish. You can do a lot of damage to the paint if it gets on there.

Just go to the store and get white shoe polish. That's what they use at the race track on cars. It works great.

That I have, I'll give it a shot.

I would use a for sale sign but they're not big enough IMO.

Never use Shoe polish.. you need a razor to get it off.. use the markers like listed or if you really want it to come off easy some Dial-in like they use for drag racing.

Actually no they don't. they don't have time to scrape it off with a razor when they are in the staging lanes if they have to change their dial.
