what's the standard headphone jack size?

why don't you just get an RCA male to 3.5mm male? Then you can just plug the RCA into your xbox, and the 3.5mm into your PC.

That is the mini-jack aka 1/8". Found on almost all portable music devices and computers.

yep 1/8" and 1/4" for headphones

In your case, it's the RCA to 3.5mm. There's the 1/4" and XLR, but those don't apply to your setup.

i think the xbox RCA out is already male.. i need female RCA to mate to those with a 3.5mm to the line in.

Oh, and remember that is stereo vs mono. Don't see mono that often, but if it is only a single RCA into a mini, it would need mono. You can get a RCA left right to stereo mini too (I have both RCA to mini and mini to RCA y adapters that I use).
