Whats the smallest hard drive you can install Windows XP on?

Just curious so i know what size i need... Im only gonna be using the computers to run UD: Cancer Research, so the only room i really need is for the OS.

Hi,

From the microsoft site:

"1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space"

This is an absolute minimum though. I reccomend you go at least double this. (Page file + any apps + backups...) - and let's face it - unless you're running this off a multi-partitioned drive, you will find it difficult to buy a new IDE drive with space under 40GB!

gig and a half is right....and like he said, double it

which is 3 gigs, which you probably wont find

perhaps a 10 gig somewhere in fs/t for 15 or 20 bucks or somethin
any system requirements for what youre doing in the first place?

Not really, i had it runnin on a 300mhz K6-2 awhile ago...

Ive been offered a 6.4gb drive for $9+shipping so i'll prolly take that one...
