I haven't done it myself, but I know the answer has to be shipping something to yourself. :)

I overnighted my grad school application from the building it was being delivered to. Down the hall from the admissions office, actually. A number of the office workers I know said they prefer it if all the applications come through the mail - if one or two get dropped off at an inopportune time, they might not make it into the right pile/file/whatever.

I think it cost $6

Wasn't me, and I don't remember how much it cost, but a member here sold me a HDD, and he lives like 6 miles from me.
