I keep seeing the advertisement for a 2 user motherboard from Jetway on the left hand side advertisement (damn I miss my subscription).

Anyone seen a review on these? I'd like to get one for my home office, if the performance isn't too cripled.

its a system with built in kvm and u can actually have 2 different
people run on it simultaneously. if u don't need much power and u have 2 kids
who share a room, small space, this could be good. 1 case, 2 users..u need 2 monitors tho'.

I used to wonder how my current computer ran compared to a VAX 11/780 that I used to use at college 20 years ago. One mainframe had dozens of terminals on it. Just a couple years ago, I asked about multiple users on one computer, with a monitor, mouse, and keyboard for each person, but no such animal existed. (and, I couldn't find a good reason why). I still can't see why one computer isn't powerful enough to handle the word-processing needs of several people.

because there's like a billion spyware on public computers that really slow it down

but non-internet stuff seems to work pretty well

The OS and system weren't designed to do such tasks, basically, the PC revolution came about from the idea that you could have a 1:1 user to CPU ratio, using more, smaller CPUs as opposed to one powerful big one.

Uhhh...Winterms (citrix and now Terminal Services) have been around for years.
